Your work price covers the people doing the job and the coordination that makes it happen. No separate platform fee at checkout.
Any visit fee is shown in your estimate. Extra work needs your agreement before we start.
Materials and shopping are agreed separately from labor. A store run can be a fixed fee or time at an agreed rate. Any expected bank or transaction cost on the purchase is discussed beforehand and reconciled against the actual purchase.
Sales tax depends on the service, materials and address. Check the tax status on your proposal and invoice: current work estimates do not calculate sales tax. Any applicable amount needs to be confirmed before payment.
Ordinary processing costs are covered by the rate. If an eligible credit-card surcharge applies, you see the exact amount before approving payment. It is separate from the transaction cost of buying materials.
Pick a service on the request page, answer a few short questions about the job and add photos. A person on our team reviews your request and sends you an estimate. You confirm your email with a one-time code, so you can see the estimate in your account.
Every estimate shows how many people will arrive and the time we expect the job to take. The price is shown in full, in one or both of these ways:
If both are offered, you choose the one you prefer when you accept.
No hidden fees after the job. Everything you will be charged for is listed on the estimate before you accept it. Card processing costs are not added to your price.
We work across Pittsburgh. For an address that is far from the rest of our day, or on a very busy day, we may add a trip fee. When we do, it is a separate line on your estimate, so you see it before you accept. A trip fee is never added after the job.
