--- kind: "member_aup" version: 2 title: "Team Platform Use Rules" effectiveAt: "2026-10-03T01:54:43.981Z" material: true draft: false --- ## Scope and employment status These rules govern authorized use of Taskburgh by team members, managers and other personnel. They are platform access rules, not an employment agreement, contractor classification, equity grant or promise of compensation. A role named Partner in the interface does not make someone a legal member of an LLC. Your actual work relationship, compensation and authority must be documented separately by the business engaging you. ## Individual access and confidentiality Use your own account, protect credentials and use a passkey when practical. Access only records needed for authorized duties in the correct business and workspace. Do not share accounts, export customer lists for unrelated purposes or use client contact details to solicit unrelated work. Respect assigned-job, category and organization restrictions even if you discover a technical way around them. Use customer information only for requested services, authorized support and necessary records. Keep photos focused on the task and avoid unrelated people, documents and private spaces. Do not publish customer information or job photos without recorded, specific permission and the required business approval. Do not place passwords, full card details or unrelated sensitive documents in chat or notes. ## Accurate work and money records Record work time accurately, pause when appropriate, and explain corrections. A manager stopping a timer is not proof of a worker's agreement to a wage deduction. Finishing a job does not establish payment, client satisfaction or waiver of a claim. Confirm the approved scope and rate before work. Obtain customer approval for extras, shopping time, purchasing fees and materials before incurring them. Do not invent tax exemptions, describe a platform commission as a bank charge, impose a prohibited card surcharge or collect a second payment for an already paid amount. Report errors promptly with the original evidence intact. Personal purchases require receipts and separate administrator approval for reimbursement. Recording a reimbursement request is not approval or proof of repayment. Refund reports and confirmations must reflect money actually returned; a moderator's request does not authorize a bank transfer. Do not alter or delete financial evidence to hide a cancellation, refund or mistake. ## Authority and safe service An interface permission does not confer a professional license, insurance coverage, ownership interest or authority to sign any contract. Work only within your documented authority and the provider's lawful scope. Stop and seek review when required registration, insurance, permits, competence or safe conditions are missing. Never promise another business's coverage or credentials. Treat clients and colleagues respectfully. No harassment, discrimination, threats, fabricated reviews or retaliation for truthful complaints. Nothing here prohibits lawful reporting, discussion of legally protected working conditions or pay, whistleblowing, communication with regulators or obtaining professional advice. ## Changes and loss of access Report lost devices, misdirected links, suspected data exposure and departures promptly. The business or Webq may limit access for a change in duties, security, offboarding or misuse. Access changes do not extinguish wages, reimbursements, ownership rights, records rights or other obligations. Material rule changes are presented prospectively. Contact your business administrator or hello@taskburgh.com to raise a question or request review.
